Hello Blogosphere! It’s been far too long since my last post but I promise my next few posts will be worth the wait!
Tomorrow is the first day of classes after our spring break and I am so not ready to go back. That’s why tonight I am going to relive the amazing road trip Tara and I took just a few days ago. We looked into a lot of different places and activities to see and do within driving distance from the NY/NJ area but ultimately settled on Baltimore Maryland.
So we set off on our adventure, the sky was blue and the roads were empty as we made the three hour drive down to Maryland.
Our first stop was the Baltimore Museum of Art, a FREE art museum featuring modern, contemporary, and American art among other things. We explored the grounds for hours stopping only to eat in their on-site cafe, and of course to browse in the gift shop.
Before we knew it it was time to check into the hotel. We found a cheap room at a hotel right in the Inner Harbor which is where we planned on spending most of our time.
After dinner at the hotel’s restaurant we went across the street for milkshakes and drank them by the water admiring the view.
Then we decided to get a different perspective (from the hotel’s penthouse party room)
The next morning after our breakfast was delivered to our room, for the ridiculous charge of $50, we headed to the National Aquarium
Jellies, Sharks, Frogs, Penguins, Parrots, Snakes, Puffer fish, Dolphins, we saw them all and much more. This place was IMPRESSIVE. After spending the day there we headed home making it a short but certainly sweet trip!
I can’t wait to see what we come up with for next year’s Spring Break.
